Go to the microsoft web site, downloads, templates. They have free sample templates for business letters, resumes, and other documents in microsoft word format.
Usually a cover letter just presents you and your relavent information. A resume is where the work experience is presented.
A cover letter should contain your name, address, phone, email, etc.; a good opening statement and then why you are applying for their position.
I have a wonderful computer program that helps with this. It’s called winway resume. Not only does this help you with your resume, but it also helps you with cover letter help, interviewing techniques, etc. I don’t know if this program is still available for purchase, but I’m sure you can find another one like it.
