But as far as LisaNova, it seemed a good team and tons of people telling her how and what to do awesome productions have. But I agree that Lucy is up there among them. Remember, folks, it only takes one person to change your life overnight. And I agree with the marketing. Head shots are the hallmark of the trade. Show them your new self each year and get new changes as your appearance. Then renew your postcards all on new projects every 3-4 months. No projects? No mass transit needs. is an actor masculine for the men and women college look = commercial flights sad part of mass mailings that go too many headshots in the trash but you never know, you do not receive confirmation that the agent saw the head shot like MySpace, where you when you know your e-mail I was happy to read your new headshots see Lucy and do not forget that they need to be duplicated and lithographed or photo on top of photo session. Again, use the standard format and keeps the same skills can take off for casting and put in a call back afterwards for Digital, but I can film things okay if it takes photog.

The Best Resume Formats
The resume formats are decided as per the kind of job you are looking for, your experience and your skill set etc. You may be aware that the employer can not spend much time reading a resume; your resume should be precise. If the employer goes through your resume, within 30 seconds he/she decides whether to call you for the interview or not. So follow the best resume formats and take a guideline from the sample resumes available for particular job profile, to write an effective resume.
Resume Formats
You can see different resume formats on the internet. If you are a person that acquires multiple skills, it is recommended that you write different resume for different job profiles you are applying for. As mentioned earlier, interviewer can’t spend time reading about your skills, education and experience from varied fields. He/she is interested to know about the skills that a particular job profile demands.
Considering the aspects listed above, some of the resume formats are standardized.
Chronological Resume Format: It is most popularly used resume format. Though the name of this format is ‘chronological’, the information is written in the reverse chronological order, i.e. from latest to prior. The education and experience is written in the reverse chronological sequence. It gives the correct career graph to the employer
Functional Resume Format: The functional resume format highlights the experience and skills. This is best suited format for students or people who are applying for a job after a gap of say one year or so. It is suited for the entry level professionals too. You should write the resume in this format in a clear manner otherwise the employer may get a notion that you are manipulating the details
Combination Resume Format: You can say that combination resume is the blending of chronological resume as well as functional resume. You can highlight the skills that the particular job demands. You can mention the work history from latest to old.
There are ready made templates and resume formats available on the internet. You can refer those as well as the information given above to write the most appropriate resume. Always remember, be specific and honest about what ever you write. Manipulation is a short term solution, and experienced employer can make it out in a moment.

Resume format for company acquisition?
Question by ScorpioSun: Resume format for company acquisition?
I have technically worked with the same company for 3 years. However, the company has undergone 2 (yes 2) acquisitions since I started and I have therefore worked for 3 companies in that short time. These changes have also come with a job and titled change with the last buy out. What is the best way to list this on my resume without giving the immediate appearance that I have jumped from job to job quickly? Also, is the 1-page resume still the standard or is it ok to go beyond that?

How crazy can I get with a resume format?
Question by parkdad73: How crazy can I get with a resume format?
It seems one expert tells you to stay in line and another one says you need to spice it up to get noticed. I’m not looking at add all sorts of clip art, but the standard forms just doesn’t seem to work (especially when you put “thinks outside the box” – which I won’t put on there).
What else can I do to get a resume to stand out to show the person, not just the numbers?

Unless you’re applying for a job in some creative or artistic field I would keep it simple and straightforward. One page just the facts. If you’re a match you’ll get a call – simple as that

E-Resume Formats – The 3 Formats You Need For Your E-Resume
Your e-resume. It’s the traditional resume you’ve come to know (and love?), only formatted for e-delivery. Here are the 3 formats you need for your e-resume.
______
A fistful of pretty resumes won’t get you far in today’s job search. While you’re out schlepping from one company to the next, trying to talk your way past security and secretaries, your competitors are running rings around you electronically. To compete, you need to join them – sending your resume out over the internet, via email and online forms. And to do that, you need to have your electronic resume formatted for such.
E-Resumes – The 3 Most Common Formats
1) Word Document. Ah, the traditional resume. Fully-formatted and embellished with graphics and stylish fonts, the word-processed resume remains a force. Plain text formats have threatened its domination in recent years. But as resume screening software improves and human eyes tire of reading plain text, your fully-formatted resume in MS Word is being embraced in more and more email correspondence.
With this cautionary note. Due to security concerns, many such attachments won’t be opened for fear of a virus. Before sending out a Word attachment, call or email the HR department or your corporate contact person to find out the preferred method of getting a resume to their computer screen. Ask simply if you can send your resume as an attachment, in Word for example. If it’s impractical to pose the question, or you’re responding to an ad with no clear direction, go with plan B – send your resume as both a Word attachment and a plain text version as part of the email itself.
2) ASCII Format. An acronym for American Standard Code for Information Interchange, this is a mouthful of a term which simply means a plain-text file. In our case, a plain-text version of the fully-formatted Word document. Keep it handy. You’ll need it for those occasions when email attachments are not allowed, for pasting onto Web forms (for example, on job boards and when applying directly to job listings on corporate websites), and when responding via email to an employer who requests a plain-text resume only. In the latter cases, simply copy and paste your ASCII resume onto the body of your email.
3) PDF Format. Short for “Portable Document Format,” the PDF file format from Adobe Systems has become the defacto standard for printable documents on the Web, and is an increasingly common format for email resume attachments. PDF allows the sender to forward a fully-formatted resume (stylized graphics, attractive fonts, etc.) independent of it’s application software. Which means the receiving party can open and read the file regardless of whether they have Word on their computer. It’s also virtually virus proof, alleviating those security concerns.
You should be able to convert your Word resume to PDF right on your own computer although depending upon which version of Word you’re working with, you might have to download an “add-in” from Microsoft (i.e.”Microsoft Save as PDF” for 2007 Microsoft Office Programs). Or, you can bypass that procedure entirely in lieu of Web-based resources. For example, for a free and simple conversion, consider pdfonline. On their home page, click the heading “Free PDF Services” and follow the instructions. You’ll basically be uploading your fully-formatted Word or WordPerfect resume, and receiving a PDF version from them, sent to you as an email attachment.

Should i break with standard formatting on my resume?
Question by Patrick: Should i break with standard formatting on my resume?
I am updating my resume for a job search. I currently work for a company respected for its training. My wife thinks I should capitalize, bold, or otherwise highlight the name of my current employer. I think all my past employers should be “featured” with the same formatting. Who’s right??
Best answer:
Answer by PiggiePants
keep the formatting consistent, or your resume (and you) will look unprofessional. The place to highlight your company experience is in your cover letter. Make sure you include the name of the company in the letter, with examples of what you learned there that will benefit the potential employer.
