In the Summary section of your resume, convince the prospective employer that through your certifications / licensing (if any), education and skills, such as computer experience, you can succeed in the position of a Nurse Assistant.
List all the core courses that you took for your degree on the resume. Then, include all your computer skills. Let these two items appear after the Summary, with section titles like Core Courses and Computer Skills respectively. Next, list any of your voluntary work in the Experience section.
If you have 3.0 or above GPA go ahead and include it in your resume. Otherwise, skip it.
The format for your resume would be:
1. Your name, address, telephone numbers (work and home), and e-mail ID
2. Summary of your qualifications and skills
3. Certifications / Licensing
4. Core Courses
5. Education
6. Experience (include it even if it’s a voluntary work)
The cover letter is like the icing on a cake. Write a cover letter to emphasize again your education and skills that matches with the needs of the job.
